Abstain from wrong, grow what's good, maintain pure thoughts; that is the whole teaching/path.

Your choices are your own, whether to do good or evil, whether to heal yourself or hurt yourself. You choose to be pure or impure. No one can purify you.

Strive intentionally to do good and refrain from evil. If you hesitate to do good, you're allowing evil to entertain your mind.

Love must be genuine. Despise what is wrong and embrace what is good.

Kill the earthly nature you had that engaged in idolatry through fornication, impurity, lust, evil desires and coveting. For these things will bring the wrath of God to the disobedient. Previously, you had engaged in these things too. But now you must also avoid things like anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, and filthy language from your mouths. Do not lie to one another because you are no longer your old self engaging in those old practices. You are a new person, who is renewed in knowledge after the image of the Creator.

(The one who values life...) will reject evil and do good. He will seek peace and work towards it.

Turn from evil and act good, seek peace and ensue it.

On this day, I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have presented to you life and death, blessing and cursing. So, choose life so that you and your children may live, so that you will love the Lord God, obey God's voice, and adhere to God...

Truth comes from God, so let the willing believe and the unwilling disbelieve

Allah does not change the condition of a person, until they first change what is within themselves.

Use your ears to hear and comprehend the highest truth. Consider it with an enlightened mind, and let each man and woman choose between the two paths, good and evil. Before the great Day of judgment arrives, arise and disseminate the words of Ahura.

The twin spirits that emerged in the beginning in the world of thought were good and evil in thoughts, in words, and actions. Of the two spirits, the wise choose righteously while the unwise do not and transgress.

Ahura Mazda, your divine wisdom is the source of creation. You have given every person the freedom to choose between good or evil paths; choose the path pursued by true leadership or the one led by misguidance.

From the beginning, Mazda, created the soul and body, inner inspiration and understanding; and within the physical body is the freedom to think, speak, act, and choose one's beliefs. Therefore, each person can claim their own beliefs, whether guided by truth or error, wisdom or ignorance. And, when uncertainty/doubt arises, sincere faith and devotion examine the inner soul for direction.

(Krishna to Arjuna) Now meditate on my words and then decide what to do.

The ego and the Self share a body, much like two golden birds perched on the same tree. While the latter observes as detached, the former consumes the sweet and sour fruits of the tree of life. We become attached and experience sorrow or sadness as long as we believe we are the ego. However, you will be set free from sadness when you acknowledge that you are the Self, the Lord of life.

The outcome of noble deeds is enjoyed by two who reside in the heart and mind. They are referred to as light and shade by Brahmanic knowers, those who keep the five sacred flames going, and those who have made the Nachiketa sacrifice three times.
